Within 5 minutes of walking distance, you can reach the city’s central market, along with the malls, souvenir shops, banks and the bus station of Heraklion, through which you may travel to the whole island of Crete in a quick and easy fashion. Next to the Hotel is the bus station for WaterCity Waterpark and CRETAquarium Thalassokosmos, one of the largest aquariums in Europe. The “Nikos Kazantzakis” Airport is also located nearby.

What impressed us the most was the mattress and pillows. My wife and I, chose the pillow we wanted and so we had a very comfortable and restful sleeping experience. The breakfast we had and the helpful staff made our stay even better.

The hotel offers breakfast at Gazebo which has a stunning view across the harbour and the Venetian Fortress of Koules. Every morning my children and I would wake up and enjoy breakfast for a long time, just to see this view. In addition, very close to Marin there are various activities and attractions for children, such as the Natural History Museum of Crete with the dinosaurs!

The hotel is located next to the city centre and the harbour overlooking Koule. Within 5 minutes of walking distance, you can reach the city’s museums and restaurants. We have, also, been informed that the rooms were recently renovated so they were much better than the pictures we had seen.
